Jolly Holiday Camp (Sparks, Brownies joint camp)

Theme - It's A Jolly Holiday Camp (around the year in one weekend)

 Camp Description - Join us for a camping experience full of indoor and outdoor activities and games.  We will be celebrating a years worth of holidays in just 1 weekend starting off with ringing in the New Year and ending with Christmas morning.  The weekend will be action packed and tons of fun!

 Schedule:

 Friday:

7pm – Girls arrive

7:30pm – Orientation of camp (rules, safety etc.)

7:45pm – New Years Eve Craft (make noise maker crafts; tp shakers, tin can shakers, paper plate shakers)

8:15pm – New Years Party (Gingerale/popcorn snack, countdown to New Year (shakers for celebrating), sing Auld Lang and campfore songs)

9pm – bedtime

 

Saturday:

8am – Valentines breakfast (heart chaped pancakes, strawberry sauce and whipped cream, red juice and milk)

            Chores (clean-up dishes, get dressed etc.)

10am – Break into 4 groups (spring, summer, fall and winter) and do Valentines and St Patty’s day craft/activity stations

·         Orienteering for treasure (outside – st pattys)

·         Heart Hurt race (outside – valentines)

·         Pot of gold pin craft (inside – st pattys)

·         Valetines craft (inside - valentines)

12pm – Easter lunch (pita sandwiches with ham/cheese/veggies; easter basket brownie dessert – girls make then eat)

Chores (clean-up dishes etc.)    

1pm – Mothers Day Flower Pots (paint pots, plant bedding flowers)

2pm – Halloween Costume/Karaoke Party

·         Break into 4 groups for getting costumed up and preparing songs stations

·         Snack while other groups are singing (chips, juice)

5pm – Quiet time

6pm – Thanksgiving dinner (turkey, potatoes etc)

Chores (clean-up dishes etc.)    

7:30pm – Campfire (songs, skits, smores)

8:30pm – bedtime

 

Sunday:

7:30am – Christmas breakfast (cinnamon buns, cereal, fruit) – leaders dress up like Santa, Ms Clause and elves; give girls small gift)

8:15am – girls packup

9am – parent helpers arrive to clean floors, bunks, bathrooms

9am – kids equipment moved to outside, and kids play outdoor games until parents arrive

10am – Parents pick up kids
