Program Resources from the past
  • Taste of Guiding Rally (Revised)

Several years ago, a guideline was issued that laid out the planning steps to holding a rally which was intended to give girls who hadn’t tried Guiding before to have a ‘taste’.  There are still free patches available from the Provincial Office for Districts or Areas that hold these types of events.  You don’t have to hold a Rally exactly as described in the booklet, but if you hold a membership event that allows girls to try out some program, you can have free patches for the attendees.

Send your request to the Provincial Office by email:  info then add AT (the @ symbol) albertagirlguides.com  and be sure to include a description of the event you are planning, the number of expected attendees and where to send the patches.  The A Taste of Guiding Rally booklet is available on the Provincial web-site.

Crests are still available, free to units in Alberta.
