Bright Ideas - Games

Romeo and Juliet Game

A leader tells a random, made up on the spot story, using (repetitively) three words.

The three words are:

  • “Romeo and Juliet”,
  • “wheelbarrow”, and
  • “Siamese twins”.

The girls are split into two even groups. Each girl must have a partner in the opposite group.

Whenever the storyteller uses any of those 3 words, the girls run to their partner and do the action.

  • When the phrase “Romeo and Juliet” is used, one girl must sit on the other girl’s knee.
  • When “wheelbarrow” is said, one girl must hold the other’s feet in the air.
  • When “siamese twins” is said, the girls must face their butts together, and hold criss-crossed hands through their legs.

This game can last upwards of 30 minutes, and can get pretty funny!

It's better when the group has at least 12 girls.

It's also a very active game!
