Bright Ideas - Games

Guiding Bingo

I used graphics from National's site and made up a Spark Bingo game.

It was a bit time consuming to make the various combinations -
(Cut and Paste - I'm sure there's an easier way :)).

Printed them out , glued them to a heavy card stock, coloured them, and laminated them.

Then I made a set of cards for the "Caller", got some colorful bingo markers and voila!!

We have found that it is not only fun for them but they are also learning the symbols associated with Guiding.

For example, some of the graphics I used were the BP's, Guide sign, Brownie sign, Tents, campfire, rainbows, cookie etc.

They ask to play it when they come in and other girls can join in when they arrive.

Here is a sample card that could be used for the different branches.

Make the items appropriate for the branch that you work with.
