Bright Ideas - Camp and Sleepovers

WAGGGS Theme Camp

From Barb Booth - Calgary Area

We had a district camp with the theme WAGGGS.

  • We had activities from around the world and
  • each group was a tribe-
  • we made masks from cast material (if you broke your arm) ahead of time, so all they did was paint them at camp- these fit each girl as they were molded to their faces;
  • we played on Norwegian skis- four people to each set of skis;
  • campfire had songs from all different countries- this was led by a leader who was from another country, so she knew different songs than the rest of the group
